About Dr Neil Ferguson
Dr Neil Ferguson has been an Orthopaedic Specialist in Armidale since 2016 and is committed to providing a world class evidence-based orthopaedic service, in a rural setting.
Since being in Armidale Dr Ferguson has built up a busy practice, performing around 200 joint replacements per year. He embraces the latest technology to provide the very best service to his patients and is very proud to be the first (and currently only) surgeon in regional NSW to have the ground-breaking Mako robot to help in performing joint replacements.

Website Purpose
The purpose of this new website is promotion, as well as the normal informational outcomes. The new website needs to be
- patient focused,
- visually engaging and
- address patients’ needs and questions.
The website also needs to not only rank but also engage visitors looking for the practice’s services.
The website needs to help differentiate the practice services and ensure patients understand that Dr Neil Ferguson offers expertise and excellent service.
As well as reinforce the message that Dr Neil Ferguson offers a professional, caring, safe, and personalised service.
Target Audience
- The orthopaedic specialist offers a full health care service to patients who are suffering from orthopaedic conditions
- Target patients are both male and female patients, of all ages
- The client wants to rank highly for all their hip and knee conditions and procedures on searchers (SERPS).
