Hobsons Gate Medical Centre Website Design

Hobsons Gate MC wants a website redesign principally for two reasons. Firstly to be optimised and adaptive for mobile devices and secondly to attract more new patients in a more competitive market.

The new design needs to be patient focused and answer patients' questions around their practice services.

The website also needs to support the patient's sense that Hobsons Gate MC is the right choice both professionally as well as showing a friendly, caring local, service solution.

Target Audience

Hobsons Gate MC wants the practice focus on general family healthcare, and in particular women’s health cut also on the care plans as nominated on page: http://www.HGMC.net.au/services.html

Purpose

The website ranks well locally but this needs to be improved. Home page engagement is important as so without being cluttered the design needs to offer effective navigation and easy access.

Fonts, Colour, Logo

• Font - san serif consistent throughout the website
• Logo - as exists
• Colours - need to reflect the branding of in the logo ie summary, light and beachy
• Menu Tabs - suitable colouring
• Not too many colours or tonal variations

Layout

Clean simple layout with a few key messages and zones on the home page. Hobsons Gate MC likes the clean contemporary design of I like the openness of the design http://www.doctorondemand.com/
